Named for Two Mothers
Life began with a series of steep mountains. When Clement was just three years old, his father passed away, leaving his mother Mary Gyamea to navigate the world as a single parent, manufacturing and selling Ntɛw Dokono (Kenkey) just to put food on the table and clothes on their backs.
When the path became almost too difficult to walk, his aunt, the late Theresah Yeboah, stepped in during their toughest hours, taking him into her home and providing the stability he needed to dream beyond their immediate circumstances.
Theresah is no longer with us. Mary still is. The TheresahMary Foundation carries both their names — one in memory, one in celebration — representing the dual forces of nurturing and sacrifice that define its mission.

Nana Yaw Amponsah Peprah Clement
Known as D-DON, Clement is the product of his mother Mary's tireless grace and his aunt Theresah's selfless intervention. From watching his mother sell Kenkey on the streets to pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of London, his journey is a living testament to what happens when a community cares.
A graduate of a Diploma in Basic Education and a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics, Clement founded TheresahMary Foundation not from a position of abundance, but from a deep understanding of what it means to need a fighting chance, and to receive one.
He established the foundation on 16th December 2021, his mother Mary's birthday, as a promise to honour both women who made him who he is, by doing the same for others.
