About Princess Quaye

My name is Princess Quaye, and I come from Mankessim. Life has not always been easy for me. I lost my mother at a young age, and since then, my father has done his best to take care of me. He sells car dusters to earn a living, but his income is very small, and most days are a struggle just to meet our basic needs.

Despite these challenges, I have always believed in education as a way to change my future. In 2024, I gained admission to Breman Asikuma Senior High School. It was a dream come true, but that dream became uncertain because I could not afford my prospectus and other essential items needed to begin school. I felt worried and discouraged, not knowing how I would continue my education. Through my school nurse, Madam Dorothy Duodu, I was introduced to the TheresahMary Foundation. She saw my situation and connected me to the foundation, hoping they could help me continue my education.

Thankfully, the TheresahMary Foundation stepped in at the right time and supported me with the items I needed. Because of their kindness and generosity, I was able to enroll and begin my journey in senior high school.

Today, I am in school, focused and determined to succeed. I am working hard in my studies and making the most of the opportunity I have been given.

My dream is to become a journalist, so I can use my voice to tell stories, inform people, and make a positive impact in my community and beyond. I also hope to build a better future for myself and support my father, who has sacrificed so much for me.

I am truly grateful for the support I received, and I remain hopeful for what the future holds.
